Claire Birchall Running In Slow Motion LP Vinyl 1LP in coloured sleeve w/ 3mm spine. [w/ download card] Future Me Hates Me -Running In Slow Motion is an album of contradictions, a darkly emotive synth pop record, Owing as much to the influence of The Beach Boys as Alan Vega. Simple 4 track production sits in juxtaposition to complex high pop songcraft. Rough edges cut through beautiful, layered melodies. A multi instrumentalist and devotedly DIY, Claire wrote, played and recorded the entire record herself, with the exception of a striking cover of Randy Newmans Pretty Boy.
